Petrochemical Industry Wastewater Treatment

In the petrochemical industry, the wastewater may contain high amounts of free and emulsified oil. Ecologix offers its propietary mobile Integrated Treatment Systems (ITS) to remove suspended solids, dissolved metals and hydrocabon from the wastewater.

This system will remove essentially all the TSS, Fat, Oil and Grease from the wastewater, produced water, river water and any other source of polluted water. Through the proper use of chemistry and air infusion the ITS will separate, float and remove the sludge with an automatic skimmer. In most applications the sludge may need to be further processed for dewatering. In the case of produced oil, the oil itself is harvested for resell. The clear water is then moved through one extra level of polishing to remove any left-over solids.
