Dissolved Air Flotation Systems
Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) is a water treatment process that removes suspended solids by using air to create a blanket of sludge at the surface of a flotation cell. This separation is achieved by dissolving air into the wastewater and then releasing the air at atmospheric pressure in a flotation tank. The released air forms tiny bubbles which adhere to the suspended solids, causing the particles to float to the surface of the water where it is then removed by a skimming mechanism.
DAF is widely used in food processing applications, which tend to have water high in fat, oil, and grease content.
VLT-Series Dissolved Air Flotation Systems
The Ecologix VLT-Series DAF system is one of the best engineered Dissolved Air Flotation systems on the market. Unique design features maximize sludge capture, reduce operating costs and allow for easy maintenance.
Integrated Treatment System (ITS)
The patented Integrated Treatment System is a mobile water management platform centered on Dissolved Air Flotation technology. Designed specifically for frac water treatment, the ITS is a unique adaptation of tried and true technology to a growing energy market.
